Leave a legacy at
The Common Ground Playground at Makino Park is set to open to the public in Spring 2020! Your family, company or organization can be part of this community legacy by sponsoring a personalized and engraved butterfly on Makino Park’s Donor Wall. Your designation will be prominently displayed highlighting your commitment to the Mason community for generations to come.
The 20' x 6' foot granite wall will be a work of art including etched butterflies varying in size based on the donor’s level of financial support. The butterfly symbolizes the unique aspects of Common Ground, and the shape of the butterfly is at the center of the design of the different play zones that will bring everyone together.
Sponsorship levels begin at $1,000, with the largest butterflies
being represented at the $25,000 mark.
A representative from the Mason Parks & Recreation Foundation will be contacting you in January 2020 to obtain the exact personalization for your butterfly.
Donations for the donor wall recognition are only available through January 29, 2020. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to be a lasting part of Common Ground at Makino Park!
