Crossroads Mason WeRun 5K/10K

In October of 2019, Crossroads Church in Mason, in partnership with the City of Mason, held its annual We Run 5K/10K to raise funds for the construction of the Common Ground Playground at Makino Park. The event raised funds for the playground.

Mason Corporate Challenge 5k Walk/Run

In 2018, the Mason Corporate Challenge 5k Walk/Run was held at The Golf Center where it raised funds for the Mason Parks & Recreation Foundation to be used for the construction of the Common Ground Playground at Makino Park.

Mason Monopoly

In 2015, the City of Mason celebrated its 200^th Bicentennial with many events and initiatives throughout the year. One initiative was the sale of Mason Monopoly games. The money from the sale of the popular board game raised funds for the Common Ground Playground at Makino Park.

Run, Roll & Sun 5K

In 2015, the Mason Parks & Recreation Foundation and Mason Community Center held the Run, Roll & Sun 5k to help raise funds for the Common Ground Playground at Makino Park. The family-friendly event raised funds for the playground.
